"One man, living again in his home state, surrounded by territory once rife with Conservatives,
and now hijacked by imported Liberals. This is the product of a self-imposed duty to continue to speak my Traditionalist Values
despite the Left's proliferation, procreation and perpetual regurgitation."

"One woman, living in a southern state, invaded by liberal policies, where strong Conservatives
were once revered. Proudly clinging to my guns. Proudly singing to my God."

Jingle Bill

Because this is the week between Christmas Day and New Years Day, we wanted to try to add a little humor to an otherwise humorless situation. During this season of merriment, while the Democrats have forced an unwanted Healthcare plan on the American public, we eagerly await the 2010 elections and hope that the American public will make certain that our Congress will never be given the Democratic majority again. I want to thank DI for the extremely funny (and incredibly well done) image above that he helped me to create for my personal version of Jingle Bells.
It just doesn't get any more fun than this!

(Everybody sing)

Dashing through a Bill -
With unprecedented speed -
O’er Healthcare we don’t want -

And changes we don’t need.

"Socialistic care" is Pelosi’s “Christmas treat” -
But its just recycled fruitcake that nobody wants to eat!!

Cap and trade -
High tax and Single Pay....
Our healthcare has been hijacked

And free choice has gone away !

Share the wealth -

Ration health -
Give bureaucrats control -
So they can empty out our stockings

And carbon tax our lumps of coal!

A day or two ago - Repubs put up a fight
When Congress called a session in the middle of the night

It was filibuster-proof
They cut our coverage while we slept
Yet those private funded policies

Were perks that Congress kept!

Jingle Bill -
A single Bill
And a trillion goes away
Congress passes bad checks but the nation has to pay

Jingle Bill
A single Bill
The Dems have struck again
Oh, what fun it’ll be to vote them OUT in twenty-ten!

HAPPY 2010 !!

A Christmas Card

Although many of you have already had the pleasure of hearing our friend "Z" sing on her site - DI and I wanted to make certain that this most special Christmas gift, one which she has given her readers, was able to be seen by as many people as possible. How fitting that the voice of an angel should be given to us during this most Blessed of seasons. Sometimes heaven simply shines a light on someone in order to allow them to reach others through special gifts that have been bestowed upon them by Divinity. Z is one such person who truly shines. Please take a few moments to listen to her rendition of the song, 'Mary, Did You Know,' and you will understand why we believe this to be true. On this day, and with each day to follow, may God continue to bless each one of us and each of our loved ones, as well as this great nation that we all love so dearly.
God Bless us, everyone.

Merry Christmas!

Blue Christmas...

It is with a heavy heart that I sit before my keyboard and write this. My family is experiencing an indefinite, very difficult period presently. I will not discuss my personal problems here. Suffice it to say they are significant. They have drawn my attention and have demanded my responsibility.

And of course this Republic has never been crumbling faster...

Nationally, I am beyond words at this point. I am not optimistic for things getting better. If they do, I only see it after catastrophe has reared its ugly head, and surely like never before in our history. Only then... maybe... will there perhaps be enough of an impact on the American mind to realize what we have callously thrown away and try to rebuild some semblance of it.

Until that catalyst, if it ever occurs, I have chosen to hold my family close and prepare for the worst. What I do or am motivated to do at this blog is uncertain. I am incredulous at how little I feel there really is remaining to discuss constructively.

I will continue to always hold dear those amazing friends I have made here. I will read you when I have the time and inclination, whether I comment or choose not to. You are amazing, staunch patriots. You know who you are... you could not have any higher regard or respect from me. I want each of you to know this.

Sadly, while we all are still allowed to say it, I bid you each as much of a Merry Christmas as you can realize. God bless each of you.
